The lodge is not really suitable for young children due to the steep steps. The lodge sleeps two in a king size bed but we do allow infants but do not provide travel cots.

Dogs will receive their own welcome pack which includes dog bowls, dog towel, head torch (for humans for any late night toilet trips) trips. There is a also a large secure paddock opposite the lodge and a hot/cold outside tap to wash off any muddy paws. We also provide large blankets to protect our furnishings if required. We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended in the lodge. A crate can be provided upon request.

Yes, there are some fantastic bike routes locally. You can store them in the secure garage situated underneath the lodge and also use the hot/cold outside tap to wash them off.

There is a very limited bus service into Harrogate which runs about every two hours. There are no taxi firms locally.
